The habit of being caught in the news remains ill-advised

If you have the urge to watch or read the same news repeatedly on TV or on the phone, it can have a bad effect on the body and mind. Especially if the news is sad, like - Corona, news of war or some accident.

Texas Tech University of America has conducted a study. It has come to the fore that people's habit of being in the news is making them sick. Irritability, stress and stress level are increasing in them. At the same time, health is also deteriorating. Doomscrolling is an addiction to deeply read sad news.

This study, published in the Journal of Health Communication, has been done on 1100 people. About 17% of these people suffer severe doomscrolling. That is, they have become addicted to knowing more about bad news. Due to this addiction, they start feeling the world as a dangerous place.

Those who see less news are more happy at home, calmer
Australian doctor Kate Mannell says that the habit of doomscrolling has increased since Corona. Sometimes keeping a distance from the news can make you a calm and focused person. Such people are also more happy at home.
